Range Step Area Chart

Description

Range Step Line Area Chart is very similar to the Area Chart type. As distinct from the latter, Range Step Line Area Charts plot two Y-axis values at a time, Low and High, and use only vertical and horizontal lines to connect data points.

A step-like look makes Range Step Line Area Charts a good choice to show not only dynamics over time but also leaps in transition from one value to another and irregularity of changes.

A Range Step Line Area Chart is typically used to display the difference between the minimum and maximum values over a certain time period, including data visualizations for prices, temperatures, and so on.
