A range chart displays data as a band between low and high values. The range column variant uses vertical columns, making it well suited for comparing temperature spreads or other bounded data across categories.
This range column chart compares coastal water temperatures in London and Edinburgh throughout 2015. Two series of vertical columns show the monthly low–high temperature ranges in °C, with the Y-axis scaled from 4 to 20. An enabled legend distinguishes the two cities, and horizontal grids aid value reading. Tooltips display the series name and month for each hovered column.
Follow the step-by-step Range Chart Tutorial to learn how such charts are built. See the Range Chart documentation for all configuration options.
