A Column Chart is a great instrument to show the difference in some discrete value in dependency of another value or discrete variable. This Chart type fits almost all situations of charts usage, so it is quite popular. 3D is only a visual setting that has nothing to do with the chart information.
This Chart demonstrates the sales ratio for 9 cosmetic products that were sold in four states: Florida, Texas, Arizona and Nevada. The Y-Axis shows the percentage from 0 to 100%, while the values are set in number of purchases, which you can easily find out by hovering the column and watching the tooltip. Due to being of a stacked type, each column demonstrates not only the number of sales but the ratio (percentage) as well. Grid is enabled, making it easier to understand the ratio. The X-Axis holds the categories that represent the cosmetic products. You can easily manage the series through legend: when a series is enabled or disabled, the left ones' values are being recounted to form a whole of 100%, so remember that no matter which series are enabled, all of them will make 100% for each product.
