Word Tree

Description

Word Tree chart is a visualization of a set of words in a hierarchical way. It can be used to show which words most often follow or precede a target word (e.g., 'AnyChart is...') or to show a hierarchy of terms.

Words here are shown as branches going from a root word. The font size of words represents their weight – the frequency with which words occur together/ number of children.

The Word Tree visualization technique was invented by the duo Martin Wattenberg and Fernanda Viégas in 2007. So from their paper one can learn more details.
