A Linear Gauge plots a single measurement along a straight axis and can use various pointer types to match different visualization needs. AnyChart JS includes a tank pointer that resembles a liquid-filled container, ideal for volume and capacity comparisons.
This sample uses four tank pointers to compare the volume of one kilogram of different substances: water (1,000 ml), olive oil (920 ml), sugar (800 ml), and ground coffee (640 ml). The axis is scaled from 0 to 1,000 ml with ticks every 200 ml. Tooltips display the exact volume on hover, and a legend lets you toggle each substance on and off.
Follow the step-by-step Linear Gauge Tutorial to learn how such charts are built. See the Linear Gauge documentation for all configuration options.
