A Column Chart is a great tool in visualization showing the amount of a some value changing in dependence on other variable. In Column Charts, the values are displayed as columns of a height that matches the value on the Y-Axis
On this chart each series represents one of the states where those products were distributed: Florida, Texas, Nevada and Arizona. The products are shown on the horizontal X-Axis, the profit gained from sales is shown along the Y-Axis (from $0 to $12000). The grid is enabled so it is easier to watch the values. The maximum profit was gained from eyebrow pencils sales in Florida ($9332), the minimum was for lipstick in Nevada ($981). The tooltips display the state, the name of the product and the profit from its sales.
