Map projections transform the curved surface of the Earth onto a flat plane. Different projections preserve different properties — area, shape, or distance — so the choice of projection directly affects how geographic data is perceived.
This sample applies the Fahey projection to a connector map showing the 10 busiest flight routes from JFK airport (2014). Routes are split into two color-coded series — Domestic and International — with destination labels at each endpoint, passenger-count tooltips, an interactive legend, and zoom controls.
See the Map Projections documentation for all configuration options.
