Step Line and Step Area series use horizontal-then-vertical transitions between points, clearly highlighting discrete price level changes rather than smooth interpolation.
This sample loads NIKE (NKE) and Adidas (ADS.DE) CSV data into two panels: NKE as a step line and ADS.DE as a step area, allowing side-by-side comparison of the two visualization styles. Both plots enable Y-grid lines, share a common line scroller, and include range picker/selector controls with a predefined date range for focused inspection.
