Bubble maps place proportionally sized circles on geographic regions to compare quantities across locations. They are ideal when you need to show both where something occurs and how much of it there is.
This sample maps surf areas across France with bubbles positioned by latitude and longitude coordinates from Google Maps and sized by the number of surf spots. Each bubble carries an HTML label showing the area name and spot count. Rich tooltips provide a description of every surf region, and the bubbles render over France geodata boundaries.
See the Bubble Map documentation for all configuration options.
