Donut (doughnut) charts display part-to-whole proportions as a ring of slices with a hollow center. They share the same purpose as pie charts but add a center hole that can hold labels, text, or other content for added context.
This sample shows ACME Corp. apparel sales across five retail channels — Department Stores, Discount Stores, Men’s/Women’s Stores, Juvenile Specialty Stores, and All Other Outlets. The chart uses a 30% inner radius to create the donut hole and a 43% outer radius for a compact layout. Labels are enabled on each slice, and the interactive legend lets visitors hover to highlight slices and click to explode or collapse them.
Follow the step-by-step Donut Chart Tutorial to learn how such charts are built. See the Donut Chart documentation for all configuration options.
