The Envelope indicator plots upper and lower bands at a fixed percentage above and below a moving average, forming a channel around the price. When price touches or breaks through the bands, it may signal overbought or oversold conditions, making Envelopes useful for mean-reversion and range-trading strategies.
This sample renders SBUX daily data as candlesticks on the main plot and overlays the Envelope indicator directly on the same plot to show the price deviation channel. An area scroller driven by a separate value mapping provides full-range navigation. The chart includes a range picker and range selector, with the default view spanning January 2009 to January 2019.
See the Technical Indicators documentation for all configuration options.
