A Bullet Chart is a single-series chart built to compare a measured value against a target. Adding color-coded background ranges lets viewers instantly judge whether performance falls into categories such as poor, acceptable, or excellent.
This sample shows ACME Corp. sales across 12 U.S. regions in a table format. Each horizontal bullet includes five performance ranges colored from red (low) through amber (moderate) to green (high and above target). The dark bar represents actual sales as a percentage of the goal, and the line marker at 100% marks the target. With a scale spanning 0% to 130%, the chart reveals which regions have exceeded or fallen short of their sales objectives at a glance.
See the Bullet Chart documentation for all configuration options.
