Column Charts are usually used to show how an amount of something discretely changes in time or due to another variable which values are shown as categories on the X-Axis. Values are spread along the Y-Axis. The third dimension here has no special purpose and holds no information as making the chart of 3D type is a visual setting only.
This Chart is a demonstration of making a Column Chart of 3D type by using the column3d() method and coloring it with a hatch fill with a hatchFill() method. Making a chart 3D does not mean that this chart demonstrates any additional information as this setting leads only to visual changes. A hatch fill is a coloring setting that is necessary to use for people with sight diseases like colorblindness, as it does not require colors but different simple elements like small crosses, dots, etc.
The revenue from sales is shown on the chart. There are two series representing the regions (Florida and Texas). The maximum revenue was got in Florida for lip gloss sales and the minimum was for rouge in Texas. The range of values shown on the Y-Axis is from $5000 to $25000. Labels are disabled; tooltips, the grid and the legend are on. Use legend to manage the enabled series. Tooltips display the product's name and the value in dollars.
