Based on data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and OpenStreetMaps, the authors colored streets with masculine names in blue, feminine in red, and no-gender in gray.<\/p>\n<h3>Birthplaces of Current Berliners<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbb24.de\/panorama\/beitrag\/2018\/08\/die-geburtsorte-der-berliner.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6466\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/berliners.png\" alt=\"Birthplaces of Current Berliners\" width=\"80%\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/berliners.png 703w, https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/berliners-300x253.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 703px) 100vw, 703px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGerman <em>rbb | 24<\/em> published a study from data journalist G\u00f6tz Gringmuth-Dallmer, which looks into where people who currently live in Berlin were actually born. In fact, the German capital is the place of birth of less than 47% of the Berliners. The others came from various cities all over the country as well as from abroad \u2014 Poland, Turkey, Russia, Syria, and many other territories. The project is based on the HM Land Registry data. Look where house sale prices have risen and fallen for the latest several years and by how much.<\/p>\n<h3>Violent Crime Trends in USA<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanviolence.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6467\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/americanviolence.png\" alt=\"Violent Crime Trends in USA\" width=\"100%\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/americanviolence.png 1019w, https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/americanviolence-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/americanviolence-768x407.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1019px) 100vw, 1019px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nPatrick Sharkey, a professor of sociology at New York University and Crime Lab New York&#8217;s scientific director, launched <em>American Violence<\/em> \u2014 a project designed for making data on violence in American cities accessible to the public. According to the author&#8217;s idea, in this way everyone can easily explore trends in violent crime across the United States over time.
