Meet AnyChart Qlik Sense extension 2.3.0<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The\u00a0latest update adds two new chart types \u2013 Linear and Circular Gauges \u2013 as well as several new important features, further extending the power of our\u00a0JavaScript charting libraries<\/a> to the Qlik Sense environment. Check out the details in a quick overview below.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

New Chart Types for Qlik Sense<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n
\"Linear<\/td>\n\n
Linear Gauges<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Linear Gauge<\/a> is designed for visualization of tools with a linear scale: thermometers, LEDs (color indicators), tanks, etc. In this chart type, data values\u00a0are displayed on the axis with the help of markers, pointers or ranges.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\"Circular<\/td>\n\n
Circular Gauges<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Circular Gauge<\/a> is a type of gauges with a radial scale: speedometers, voltmeters,\u00a0ammeters, etc. As with the Linear Gauge chart type, data values in Circular Gauges are also displayed on the axis\u00a0with the help of a marker, a pointer or a range.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

New Charting Features for Qlik Sense<\/h2>\n

Data Field Tokens<\/h3>\n

Data field tokens are now displayed in the Connected Data Set section.<\/p>\n

The {%dimensionN} or {%measureN} tokens can be used in data labels format, tooltip titles and caption.<\/p>\n

Lock Series Name Feature<\/h3>\n

By default, names of series are label values of the corresponding measures or dimensions.<\/p>\n

The lock\/unlock button is now added to the Series Name field so you can switch this behavior off and set the series name manually.<\/p>\n

Multidimensional Behavior<\/h3>\n

When several dimensions are used, the dimensionGroup field is added to the data row. Its value is the sum value of all the dimensions.<\/p>\n

We’ve also fixed the issue with the point selection\u00a0for multidimensional data.<\/p>\n

Migration from Previous Versions of AnyChart Qlik Sense Extension<\/h2>\n

Once you’ve updated the AnyChart JS Charts’ Qlik Sense extension from version 2.2.0 (or older) to version 2.3.0, you should remap your data. This should be done in the following way:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open the Chart Editor by clicking the Run Chart Editor button.<\/li>\n
  2. On the\u00a0Setup Chart\u00a0screen,\u00a0reselect the data fields for each of the series.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the Next button.<\/li>\n
  4. Click the Complete button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    All the previous settings of\u00a0your chart will be retained.<\/p>\n
