The biggest trend seen here \u2013 Africa accommodated only 9% of all people on Earth in 1950, but its share in this regard will rise to as much as 39% by 2100. Well, the chart speaks for itself, so you are welcome to check it out and draw conclusions by yourselves.<\/p>\n<p>This cool animation created by German geographer and demographer Simon Kuestenmacher has been very, very popular these days. Maybe it will even get its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as the data visualization that was most frequently shown on TV. Or maybe it will be included in the Guinness World Records in some category. But let&#8217;s get to the point. U.S. President Donald Trump used this huge chart to demonstrate how hard it is to get a permit to build a highway (and, basically, any infrastructure project) in the United States.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hp4RhBmeOuo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Here&#8217;s one of the videos<\/a> of the presentation in case you missed it:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2017\/04\/06\/heres-the-huge-chart-donald-trump-is-dragging-around-to-show-how-hard-it-is-to-start-an-infrastructure-project.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Thanks to CNBC<\/a>, now we all can see what&#8217;s in it. &#8220;Sort of incredible,&#8221; Trump said. (However, it became clear just a little bit later that that horrible violence was not caused by overbooking. The company is reported to have simply decided to accommodate several employees on\u00a0that flight to transport them from Illinois to Kentucky.)<\/p>\n<p>Well, anyway, overbooking indeed appeared to be a dangerous matter. Just look at this: More than 500,000 passengers in the U.S. were denied boarding while they had valid (!) tickets for a flight. Moreover, about 40,000 of those denials, which equals to\u00a08.6%,\u00a0were involuntary.\u00a0And these are the figures from\u00a0the year of 2016 only!<\/p>\n<p>Whether you think it&#8217;s a problem or not, worth talking or not, there&#8217;s also a peculiar fact. Although the incident with United Airlines is likely to have no relation\u00a0to overbooking, check out a funny coincident:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.economist.com\/blogs\/graphicdetail\/2017\/04\/daily-chart-6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">United bumps more passengers than any other large American airline<\/a>, according to federal data nicely visualized by <em>The Economist<\/em> in the chart embedded above.<\/p>\n<h3>Chart Visualizations of Big U.S. Cities with Cheapest Rent<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3770\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chart-visualizations-of-big-us-cities-with-cheap-rent-rates.png\" alt=\"Chart Visualizations of Big U.S. Cities with Cheapest Rent\" width=\"100%\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chart-visualizations-of-big-us-cities-with-cheap-rent-rates.png 850w, https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chart-visualizations-of-big-us-cities-with-cheap-rent-rates-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/www.anychart.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chart-visualizations-of-big-us-cities-with-cheap-rent-rates-768x512.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to some data, young Americans are very mobile and move to another place to live in\u00a0an average of four times.\u00a0And, ideally, the destination should be\u00a0both affordable and interesting (cultural, diverse, etc.). But where exactly to go? FindTheHome analyzed American cities with at least 250K citizens in population and picked the 18 most affordable ones on the basis of renting rates. Here&#8217;s\u00a0the result of the research &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/places.findthehome.com\/stories\/12990\/big-cities-cheapest-rent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">an article that lists\u00a0big U.S. cities in which you can actually afford to live<\/a>.
