\"DeviesWe are proud to tell you today that our company AnyChart<\/a>\u00a0has won<\/strong> the JavaScript Technologies<\/strong> category at the 2017 Devies Awards<\/a>! The ceremony took\u00a0place yesterday in San Francisco, CA, as part of DeveloperWeek<\/a>, the world’s largest developer conference and expo with 8,000 attendees. Our CEO Anton Baranchuk<\/a>\u00a0received the award on behalf of\u00a0the AnyChart team.<\/p>\n

The DeveloperWeek Advisory Board received hundreds of nominations\u00a0and, of course, thoroughly studied\u00a0how much we did last year<\/a>. What excited the judges most was\u00a0the public release of our JavaScript graphics library GraphicsJS<\/a>. And they concluded that to be last year’s most notable\u00a0innovation in JavaScript technologies<\/strong>, exceptionally meaningful to the whole web development community.<\/p>\n

The Devies Awards celebrate the most innovative companies in the field of developer technologies across 13 categories. Together with AnyChart, among this year’s winners<\/a> are industry giants Microsoft\u00a0and IBM.<\/p>\n

Best in JavaScript Technologies: GraphicsJS by AnyChart<\/h3>\n

\"AnyChart<\/a><\/p>\n

GraphicsJS is a powerful, lightweight JavaScript library for drawing and animation, with an intuitive API, based on SVG\/VML. We have been using it as the graphics engine in our JavaScript (HTML5) based data visualization solutions AnyChart<\/a>, AnyMap<\/a>, AnyStock<\/a>, and AnyGantt<\/a>\u00a0for more than\u00a0three years. In September 2016, we released GraphicsJS as a free open-source JavaScript library<\/a> to allow everyone else to make good use of its powerful functionality in various solutions.<\/p>\n
